Rochelle “Skip” Clair Community Partnership Campaign
With finances stretched, families in our community with limited incomes may find family recreation, youth sports programs, summer camps and swimming lessons to be out of their reach. The Rochelle “Skip” Clair Community Partnership Financial Aid Program at Lititz Rec Center has made it possible each year for hundreds of children and dozens of families to take part in recCenter programs at a reduced rate or free of charge. Your generosity makes this service possible!
More than $60,000 is needed each year to support this effort. The annual Community Partnership Program reaches out to our community members and businesses to give the families, youth, and seniors in our community who are in financial need access to our healthy, active, and safe programs and services.
The LrC can count on our members and community partners to help families and kids who need and appreciate all the Lititz recCenter offers each day.
The LrC Board of Directors is committed to offering the best recreation services to each of our community members. In 2015, nearly 500 children and adults benefited from this program.
“Children in our community need healthy activities and a safe place to be after school – and we will say, years from now, we had a positive impact on them” – Nate Oehme; LrC Board President
